Multibore type membrane: 7 tubes, ID: 0,9 mm; ED: 4,3 mm; Suface area: 45 m2; MWCO : 100-150 kDa; Recommended flow: 60-140 L/(m2h).
Operating parameters set:
QE : 4,07 m3/ h
QP : 4,07 m3/h
QBW : 8 m3/h (backwash flow)
QFWF : 6 m3/h (forward flush flow)
Presure: 0,26 bar (0,25 – 0,39 bar)
Turbidity raw water: 4,4 – 4,5 FTU
Operating duration: 4200 sec (70 min)
Backwash duration : 44 sec
Pompes type: Hydrovar Lowarama
Backwash chemicals:
Acide (H2SO4): pH 3
Basic (NaOH): pH 12
Operation cycle:
1) Alkaline Backwash pH 12, duration 60 sec (flow: 6 m3/h)
2) Soak : 3 – 5 min
3) Backwash normal (25-30 sec, flow 8 m3/h)
4) Flush: 25-30 sec
5) Filtration during 13 h (4m3/h), Normal backwashes after every 70 min of operation Normal backwash cycle sequence: flush (25-30 sec) – backwash (25-30 sec) – flush (25-30 sec)
6) Chemical backwashes (H2SO4 pH 2 same conditions than alkaline backwash
7) Soak 3-5 min
8) Operation duration 2h30 min, (normal backwash sequences included)
9) Alkaline backwash (NaOH pH 12)
10) Operation with normal backwashes during 13 h
